3 keys to release the power of God in your life (authority)
God wants us to have authority over our habits
God works in us, but we work out our own salvation

1Peter  1:22-25
²²Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.^{[a] 23}For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. ²⁴For,
   "All men are like grass,
      and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
   the grass withers and the flowers fall,
    ²⁵but the word of the Lord stands forever."^[b] And this is the word that was preached to you.

1. Live by the word of God.
Let it have authority over your life and you will have authority over your life.
You can dictate your life and cause it to come in line with what God has promised us.
The more you have the word of God inside, the more God's power can be released.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word.
God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Use your bible as your authority, and when the need comes, your faith comes.
Give weight to His word, and He will give weight to you in all your circumstances.

1 Peter 5:5-7

 ⁵Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
   "God opposes the proud
      but gives grace to the humble."^{[a] 6}Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. ⁷Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

2. Submission
Submission is not just a character trait.
everything that God wants us to do has a reason for it
it will release His protection in your life.
Submission is listening and doing what you do not like but is right
Exhilaration and promotion comes by submission
God will exalt you in due time, He believes in preparing you for the blessings
He does not give it to you when you're not ready

¹⁶for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."^[a]

 ¹⁷Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. ¹⁸For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, ¹⁹but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. ²⁰He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. ²¹Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

3. Hear the voice of authority from heaven
God wants you to listen to it and hear it.
Hear the voice that God is calling you a child of God and that He is well pleased with you.
The voice of authority from heaven is powerful it can cause bondages to be broken and lives to be transformed.
when you know you are God's beloved it will drive away all low self esteem and inferiorites
Good things happen to those who believe God loves them.
 

the devil wants to make you feel ashamed and to take away every good thing that God has given you.
We go by what we see, but we are actually spiritual beings.
The things that are seen in the world are temporal.
The world looks at you from the outside to determine your gloriousness.
We try to reach what the world calls perfection.
The real you is on the inside.
God says He is light, therefore you are light, and you are glorious.
The glory of God is in you.

Isaiah 53:2
He had no special beauty or form to make us notice Him. There was nothing in His appearance to make us desire Him.

He gave up His beauty, so that we may be beautiful.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

Only when you know there is no condemnation will you have the power to go and sin no more.
Not from your own power, but from knowing how much you have been forgiven.
He took your humiliation upon Himself on the cross so that you may have His glory.

Isaiah 53:3-4
Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed, neither will you be disgraced

Isaiah 53:8
Your righteousness shall go before you, the glory of God shall be your rear guard.

When you come forward to receive something from the Lord, the power of God is deposited in your life. The results may not be immediate, but it comes in thirty fold, sixty fold and so on.
Change of mindset is powerful because it changes your living.
The moment you change your thinking, your feelings change and your life will change.
You change your thinking by feeding on the Word of God.

1 Peter 2:4-10
 

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— ⁵you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶For in Scripture it says:
   "See, I lay a stone in Zion,
      a chosen and precious cornerstone,
   and the one who trusts in him
      will never be put to shame."^{[a] 7}Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
   "The stone the builders rejected
      has become the capstone,^[b]"^{[c] 8}and,
   "A stone that causes men to stumble
      and a rock that makes them fall."^[d] They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.

 ⁹But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. ¹⁰Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.


Jesus is a living stone rejected by Man, but chosen by God.
Peter was referring to the stones in Israel used to built houses and bridges and palaces.

The stones that could not be used were called dead stones.
Jesus is the cornerstone.
Stones that could not be used were used as cornerstones to support the building.
You may be rejected by others but you are chosen by God.
They thought Jesus was a dead stone(fake God), but He is a living stone, and because He is a living stone, we are living stones as well, used to build the Kingdom.
Pray according to the righteousness Jesus had, and see the blessings God has for you.
Your prayers are powerful and accepted because God sees them through Jesus Christ.

Galations 1:11-17
¹¹I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. ¹²I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

 ¹³For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. ¹⁴I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews of my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. ¹⁵But when God, who set me apart from birth^[a] and called me by his grace, was pleased ¹⁶to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, ¹⁷nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.

God says we are the chosen generation.
Religion can make you kill(saul).
He was smart, advanced inJudaism and exceedingly zealous, but he used to persecute Christians.
But yet he says that his calling as a preacher is from God through his mother's womb.
God knew you when you were in your mother's womb and you're not an accident.
Psalms 139
God formed your passions in your mother's womb, they are God given desires.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made, distinguished by God.
When God makes you have a certain kind of trait, it is for your calling.
He knows the purposes in your life and what He has called you to be.
He is waiting for the time to come for Him to exhibit you to the world.
The days are fashioned for you, your future is decided.
God will turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones, problems are food for champions, they grow you.
When God brought the children into the promised land, He kept the giants there, so that when they killed the giants, they get the big houses there.:)

Deutronomy 7:6-8
God chose you not because you were rich or had a great personality
but because He loves you and He keeps the oath which He swore to your Fathers (Abraham).
He keeps a covenant with Jesus.
 

when the Lord is your shepherd, you shall not lack.
God brings us to places of greater, bigger and better blessings.
it's gonna be a year of manifested blessings of God.
God wants your eyes upon Him.
He will set you high above all nations, in this high postion, all the blessings will come.
Ephesians 2:4-7
But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realsmin Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages, He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ.
You are blessed irregardless of your location, school or country.
God gives you quality blessings, and for you to receive His blessings and enjoy them, He gives you good health.
You will be fruitful, you will lend but not borrow, you are above only and not beneath.(Deut 28)
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word, and blessings come on you when faith is activated.
Be in that position of rest, sit together in the heavenly places in Christ.
The devil wants you to think that you're not in the place of blessing.
He wants you to think that you need to work and toil to be where you want to be.
We have won when we know that we do not need to work to be blessed.
Psalms 91
We are in Christ, the secret place of the most High.
Jesus gave His shalom (peace, prosperity) to us, but the criteria was that we let not our hearts be troubled.
Guard your heart and God will guard everything else for you.
1 Peter 5:7-9
Cast all your anxiety upon Him, for HE cares for you.
